MULTISCREEN™ GPCR DIVISION-ARRESTED CELLS
Do you need to do a few quick experiments to validate your target?
Are you tired of all the variability and inconsistency of cell cultures?
Do you need to a reliable resource of cells for GMP assay validation?
Do you want to decouple the labor-intensive and time-consuming cell line production from your research and screening?
Multispan’s MultiScreen™ division-arrested cells are your solution! MultiScreen™ division-arrested cells enable fast 1-day plate-to-screen workflows with excellent batch-to-batch assay consistency, saving you 6 months of cell line and assay development, cell culture scale-up, and QA/QC work.

MultiScreen™ division-arrested cells shorten time-to-assay
WHAT ARE THEY?
MultiScreen™ GPCR division-arrested cells are derived from our high-quality MultiScreen™ GPCR stable cell lines. They are assay-ready frozen cells intended for plate and read on the same day.
Large scale cell culture is no longer required! MultiScreen™ GPCR division-arrested cells save months of assay development and laborious tissue culture work. They enable you to jumpstart your research for target validation, high-throughput and SAR screening, and compound profiling.
Packed in 4 million-cell single-use cryotubes upon freezing, MultiScreen™ GPCR division-arrested cells are developed for one 384- or 96-well microtiter-plate assays. Therefore, they are low-cost for evaluating a small number of compounds. They can also be used to test tool compounds in pilot projects before committing to purchasing MultiScreen™ GPCR stable cell lines.
PRODUCT OPTIONS Multispan’s division-arrested cells are available in human and ortholog GPCR target pairs with matching pharmacology and expression. Besides 4 million-cell cryovials, they are also available at higher density of billions of cells in bulk aliquots. They can be selected fromm over 500 highly-characterized MultiScreen™ GPCR stable cell lines. Moreover, division-arrested parental cells for each target are available and recommended as negative controls.

Key features of MultiScreen™ division-arrested cells
WHICH ASSAYS? Multispan’s division-arrested cells maintain the multi-screen nature of multiple assays in each MultiScreen™ stable cell line. We bank and validate a new batch of cells in one specific assay requested. As a result, frequently they are validated in calcium assay, cAMP assay, beta-arrestin assay and binding assay by flow cytometry (FACS).
HOW WELL DO THEY PERFORM? Our goal is to obtain pharmacological profiles in our division-arrested cells similar to those in growing cells. Each MultiScreen™ GPCR stable cell line is rigorously validated for assay function, clonality and stability. In addition, to preserve the high performance of our stable cell lines and batch-to-batch consistency, Multispan’s researchers have developed proprietary processes in cell culture scaling up, growth-arrest, freezing and thawing. Each batch of assay-ready cells is QC’ed in a functional assay side-by-side with its original stable cell line.
