Data Sheet

Background: The relaxin family peptide receptor RXFP1, also known as LGR7 or RX1, is a 757-amino acid 7 transmembrane protein. RT-PCR detected RXFP1 expression in various organs of the reproductive system along with the brain, heart, and lungs. RXFP1 is known to be important to the connective tissue cells of the breast and play a central role in endometrial deciduation.

Application: Functional assays

Figure 1. Dose-dependent increase of intracellular cAMP level upon treatment with ligand, measured with cAMP HiRange kit (Cisbio 62AM6PEC) using RXFP1 stable cells. Figure 2. Receptor expression on cell surface measured by flow cytometry (FACS) using an anti-RXFP1 antibody. Thin line: parental cells; thick line: receptor- expressing cells.
